We want returns to be as hassle-free as possible. Here's who pays for return shipping based on your situation:
Return Shipping Costs
| Situation | Who Pays Shipping? |
|---|---|
| We shipped wrong item | Duluth Cycle pays |
| Fitment issue (our data was wrong) | Duluth Cycle pays – 100% Fitment Guarantee |
| You ordered wrong item | Customer pays |
| You changed your mind | Customer pays |
When Duluth Cycle Pays
We cover return shipping costs when the issue is our fault:
- Wrong item shipped – We sent something different than what you ordered
- Fitment issue – Our product information was incorrect and the item doesn't fit as described
This is our 100% Fitment Guarantee—if our data was wrong, we make it right at no cost to you.
When Customer Pays
For standard returns where the product is as described, return shipping is the customer's responsibility:
- You ordered the wrong item, size, or variation
- You changed your mind about the purchase
We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure safe delivery of your return.
How to Start a Return
Regardless of who pays shipping, all returns follow the same process:
- Submit a return request through our Return Policy page
- Receive your RMA number (Return Goods Authorization)
- Ship the item back with the RMA number clearly marked
Include a copy of your invoice and ensure the item is in original condition, not damaged or previously installed.
