My Item Arrived Damaged - What Do I Do?

We're sorry your item arrived damaged—let's make it right!

All Duluth Cycle products are carefully packaged, but sometimes shipping damage occurs. Here's what to do:

Step 1: Document the Damage

Take clear photos of:

  • The damaged item (multiple angles)
  • The packaging (box, envelope, padding)
  • The shipping label (if there's visible damage to the package)

This documentation helps us file claims with the carrier and improve our packaging.

Step 2: Submit a Return Request

Visit our Return Policy page and submit a return request with:

  • Your name and email
  • Your order number
  • Reason for return: "Item arrived damaged"
  • In the message, include a brief description and mention you have photos of the damage

Step 3: Receive Your RMA Number

We'll review your request and email you a Return Goods Authorization (RMA) number along with instructions on how to proceed.

Step 4: Resolution

We'll work with you on the best resolution:

  • Replacement – We ship a new item to you
  • Refund – We refund your original payment method

Let us know your preference when you submit your return request.

Return Requirements Reminder

  • Request must be within 30 days of purchase
  • Include a copy of your invoice if shipping the item back
  • Mark the RMA number clearly on the outside of any return package
