I Used the Wrong Payment Method - What Do I Do?

If you accidentally used the wrong payment method, here are your options.

Before Your Order Ships

If your order hasn't shipped yet, we can:

  1. Cancel the order – We'll refund the original payment method, and you can place a new order with your preferred payment
  2. Keep the order – If you're okay with the payment going through as-is, no action needed

Note: We cannot transfer a charge from one card to another. The only solution is to cancel and reorder.

After Your Order Ships

Once shipped, the payment is finalized. However:

  • Your refund (if you return the item) will go back to the original payment method used
  • If that card is closed or expired, most banks will still process the refund or issue a check

Common Situations

Situation Solution
Used old card by accident Cancel & reorder (if not shipped)
Wanted to use PayPal instead Cancel & reorder (if not shipped)
Card was charged twice Contact us—this is rare but we'll resolve it immediately
Someone else's card was used Contact us and the cardholder to determine next steps

Contact us with your order number and let us know you need to cancel due to a payment issue. Once cancelled and refunded, place your new order with the correct payment method.
