Tools You Do NOT Need
Unlike many aftermarket fenders, Duluth Cycle fenders require:
- ❌ No drill — No holes to make in your frame
- ❌ No Allen wrenches — No bolts to tighten
- ❌ No specialty mounting hardware — Everything is included
- ❌ No measuring tape — Pre-punched holes are positioned for you
Optional Helpful Tools
While not required, these can make installation easier:
- Needle-nose pliers: Helpful for reaching tight spaces
- Flush cutters: Create cleaner zip tie cuts than scissors
- Flashlight: Useful if mounting in low-light conditions
Pro Tip
If you're installing Phantom fenders, don't skip using pliers to tighten the zip ties. The rubber material requires a more secure attachment than hand-tightening alone provides.
